I am not here to tell you whom to vote for. 

I’m here to tell you to please think about these things before you vote:


Do you think wearing a mask during the current pandemic is silly and futile?

What if an unmasked person sneezed on you while you were also unmasked?

Do you think everyone has a right to affordable health care?
What if you were diagnosed with diabetes and your insurance provider refused to cover your pre-existing condition?

Do you think that people with other sexual orientations have the same rights as you do?
What if one of “those people” were your child/grandchild/sibling? Or yourself?

Do you believe you're not a racist?
What if  the person about to perform emergency surgery on you or a member of your family were a person of colour?

Do you believe that if a woman is sexually assaulted it’s because of something she did?
What if that woman is you, and you know you did nothing wrong?

Do you believe that all babies should be carried to term?
What if your daughter/granddaughter/niece (or you) would die without an abortion?
What if a young woman you loved (or you) became pregnant because a man raped her?

I could list more and more hypothetical questions, but I hope I’ve made my point.
