So, here's the thing...

It seems we're in the middle of a pandemic.

Here in North America, hordes of  people are rushing to their local big-box stores and filling their carts with cases of toilet paper and water.  (I must admit, I'm confused about the water.)

The MBA, MLB, and NHL and other sports have suspended their seasons indefinitely.

March Madness has been cancelled.

Broadway is dark until at least April 12.

Schools and universities have closed their campuses, and switched to conducting classes online only.

Catholic churches in Rome have been closed until at least April 3.

Many other people are convinced that the whole thing is a hoax.  (I'm not going to get into that issue right now.)

Should we panic?  Of course not; panicking is counterproductive.

But should we just go about our business as though everything is fine?  If you're in good health, that may not be a problem.

But "they" are saying that people over 60, pregnant women, and people with health issues should self-quarantine, or at least be very careful.

While I'd love to conduct my life as normal, I fall into two of the above categories.  I'm over 60, and I have multiple chronic health issues.

I really don't know what to do, except  panic  remain calm.  Maybe, the real answer is 42.
